The Made by Me! Mix and Mold Stepping Stones Kit definitely takes some parent involvement. It comes with enough materials to make for different projects. I like the molding tray provided, but am going to invest in a variety of trays in the future as we did enjoy making this together. Make sure you use a bowl that you don't mind possibly staining with the stepping stone mix. It comes with cute things to decorate with such as plastic gems, ceramic tiles, and stickers. Make sure you follow the directions and put them on the WET mixture so that it dries with it which will essentially glue it to it. They do provide a pair of gloves and a mask. I suggest using both due to the mixture can be a little sticky and the mask will prevent you spreading germs if you are gifting your project to someone. Last but not least it includes a paint strip. I honestly did not have enough paint for all four and had to supplement with some other paint I had. I would highly recommend spraying it with some sort of ceramic paint glaze to protect it after it dries. All in all it was a fun kit. It is just a bit of work and multiple steps. The only thing I forgot to mention is we painted both sides so follow the directions for drying time if you do that. I look forward to our next Made by Me kit!
This one is definitely a work in progress. All I am missing is the picture of the one that Brayden made for his other Grandmother. I will update this post as soon as I snap the picture.
