Wonder Mom and Son Duo Powers activate!
Have you seen The Incredibles 2? We have and LOVED it! The Lego Juniors Disney The Incredibles 2 The Great Home Escape kit is like acting out the movie. You can be Violet, Dash, or even Baby Jack Jack. Unless you want to play the villain?! My son and I had a blast putting it together! It went together quite easily and my son LOVED playing with each piece of it. I loved the details like the cute picture above the fireplace. The only thing it was missing was the raccoon. Ha ha. We would love to test any new Lego sets that come out in the future! Looking forward to our next build.
Please enjoy the slideshow!
Attention Space Cadets!!! Have you heard about Galaxy Slimy Gloop? I know making gloop, or slime as some people call it, is all the rage right now. My son has been begging me to make it with him and I am SOOOOO glad we did!!!
The kit comes with everything you need including INSTRUCTIONS. Heed my warning....make sure you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS if you want it to work right. My second piece of advice is if you want the color darker use the colored dye liberally. Ours came out a little pink at first until we added more. My third tip is to make sure your kiddos wash their hands after playing with it because the color does come off on their hands when playing with it the first couple of times. Fourth and final tip if you want it to last make sure you seal it in an airtight container. We used a Ziploc bag and it has kept it in perfect condition. My son has literally asked to play with it EVERY DAY after school. By the way, did I mention you get to add glitter? I mean come on who doesn't love glitter?!?! This girl here does! Ha ha. Before I end this post make sure you look at the finished product picture in the Ziploc bag. The color was so pretty when we combined the two colors of gloop.
Have a blessed Monday and remember......keep making memories!
Please enjoy the pictures and videos below.
Another finished project. Messed up on her eyes a bit, but I love to paint.
The kiddo and I had so much fun putting together the Lego Juniors Lego City Police Helicopter Chase kit. Putting Lego sets together has become one of our favorite things we do together for Make Something Monday. I love it as much as he does! This kit was fairly easy to put together and didn't take very long to do. I can't wait to put together our next one!
We LOVE the "Boomerang" App so of course we had to make the helicopter "fly" with it!
I found a new app called "Stop Motion Studio" so we obviously had to make a SHORT stop motion film. Lol. Although one day I would LOVE to work with my beloved LAIKA that I'm always talking about don't judge me by this video, ha ha. I was just playing around with the app as it was my first time using it.
We had a blast making our wooden airplanes on make something monday. We got this kit at walmart.
Had fun making suncatchers with my kiddo tonight for make something monday. What did you make today?
I had a playdoh pizza party with my kiddo for make something monday. This was a really fun kit. What's your favorite kind of pizza?
Until now the kiddo hasn't been old enough for Legos so we were so proud that we put the four wheeler and volcano together. Lol. I see tons of Lego fun in our future. We had a little fun with the T-rex. Ha ha. The kiddo said he got a bit hungry so the T-rex grabbed one of our guys for a snack. We love dinosaurs as much as we love legos so we really enjoyed this set.
"Bees'll buzz, kids'll blow dandelion fuzz
And I’ll be doing whatever snow does in summer.
A drink in my hand, my snow up against the burning sand
Prob'ly getting gorgeously tanned in summer....."
The kiddo asked for Play-Doh kits for Christmas so I was happy to see he got one as a gift at his school Christmas party. We've really enjoyed playing with the Play-Doh Disney Frozen Summertime Olaf kit. We named the bird Stewart. 🙂
Mondays are for....
