We had a blast putting together Emmet's Thricycle from The Lego Movie 2! Brayden did have a little bit of a rough time with the wheels, but MAMA TO THE RESCUE.....together we were able to figure it out and build it together.
Brayden and I went with our family to Brush Crazy for a fun night out painting. Brush Crazy is so much fun and budget friendly for families depending on the project you choose to make. They provide all the paint and supplies while you are there. If you are worried about getting your clothes dirty they even provide aprons. You can drop in and do a solo project or come with a group. We absolutely can not wait to go back to Brush Crazy!!!!
Look at the beautiful beach scene that Brayden made! Insert cheesy, proud Mom grin here. Ha ha!
My painting. I decided to paint this scene since it reminds me of my YA novel, Amelia and the Secret of Stoney Manor. I used a stencil that they provided to make the black wolf. I saw many, many more projects that I want to do so I will definitely be back!
I was so excited to introduce my son to Lite Brite since I grew up with it when I was a kid. This kit is a lot smaller in size than the one I had as a child, but still just as fun. We had a blast making this little sail boat.
I have the Lite Brite jingle in my head, so I had to look up the 1992 commercial from my decade for y'all to enjoy!
The Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Infinity War Thor's Weapon Quest building kit honestly took a little more time to put together than most of our builds. I will admit it was some trial and error with a few parts of it. Not to mention a slip of the hand and it collapsed and I had to start completely a handful of times. We still really enjoyed making it and playing with Rocket, Thor, and Groot. I am Groot! Did I say how much I love Groot! I love Rocket and Thor too. ;)
(On a side: I thought I had taken more pictures then this so I apologize. If I find anymore I will add them.)
Brayden picked this Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Kit out. Isn't it super cute! I can't wait to "grill" our Play-doh burgers and hot dogs on this. I will update when I get more pictures.
This Lego build is still a work in progress. We will update as we put it together.
My son was really excited to get this Lego Classic Kit. I will do updates as we do more projects with it.
I am super excited to finish this Unicorn Diamond Art piece that I got from Hobby Lobby. I will update this post when I am completely done. So far, I find diamond art really relaxing as I have to concentrate to put the little gems "diamonds" on the correct spot. Not to mention I LOVE UNICORNS!
Can I just say how much we LOVED making this Sticky Mosaics Kitten Travel Pack!!! It was super easy and really fun for both the kiddo and me. Not to mention it's cats! I love cats if you didn't know. Ha ha. We will definitely be looking for another sticky mosaic kit!
It was really fun making the Lego City Monster Truck with my kiddo. It was pretty easy to put together, but there were some pieces my son needed more help with than others.
Mondays are for....
